Commanders Coach Admits Josh Allen Got Into His Players' Heads

The Buffalo Bills defeated the Washington Commanders 37-3 on September 24, 2023.

Josh Allen completed 20-of-32 passes for 218 yards, a touchdown, and one interception, and rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.

Allen was not sacked once, despite the Commanders' defense having four former first-round picks.

Commanders head coach Ron Rivera credited Allen for their defensive struggles, saying that he "got into our guy's head a little bit" after the first couple of series.

Commanders fans blasted Rivera's comments as an excuse, with some saying that it was nonsensical and that the defense should have put a spy on Allen.

Allen is already looking ahead to the Bills' upcoming matchup against the Miami Dolphins, who put up 70 points in Week 3.Allen said that the game against the Dolphins will be

a "dog fight," but that he doesn't focus on what they're doing on offense.Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that the Dolphins are a "very explosive" team and

that their schematics are "almost revolutionary."McDermott said that the Bills will need to improve their fundamentals in order to stop the Dolphins' offense.

DraftKings has the Bills installed as a 2.5-point favorite at home for the showdown with the Dolphins next week.
