"Frisco's Universal Kids Resort Unwrapped: Fresh Details
Universal has announced new details about the theme park being built in Frisco, Texas.
The park will be called Universal Kids Resort and will be the company's first park designed specifically for families with young children.
The park will have a "lush landscape feel" and will be about one-quarter the size of the parks in Orlando.
The company estimates that the park will generate $200 million in annual spending in Frisco.
The park will feature playful shows, meet-and-greets, and fun food and beverages.
The road leading into the park will be named Universal Parkway.
The company broke ground on the park in November and expects vertical construction to begin early in 2024.
The project is expected to take about two years to complete and will bring about 2,500 construction jobs to the area.
