Kyle Berkshire Hits Longest Golf Ball Ever At Wyoming Golf Course

A "long drive" is typically around 280 to 300 yards.

So, picture yourself hitting a tee shot and having it travel a MASSIVE 579 yards.

Doesn't even make sense, does it?

Long drive champion Kyle Berkshire hit a driver 579 yards, breaking the record for longest golf shot in human history.

Berkshire also shattered the record for highest ball speed at 241.7 mph.

The record-breaking drive took place at Rochelle Ranch Golf Course in Rawlins, Wyoming.

Berkshire said he chose the course because it is so long.

The ball carried 515 yards and rolled another 64 yards.

Berkshire's accomplishment is likely to stand for a long time.
