Raiders Release Longest-Statting Player

The Las Vegas Raiders are preparing for the upcoming roster reduction.

Because of his injuries, Brandon Parker will miss the rest of the season and may not even play this year.

Parker, a veteran offensive tackle, has been waived by the Raiders and, assuming he clears waivers, will become a free agent.

There's no telling if this injury will end his season, but the team has decided to leave him off the roster nonetheless.

Together with fellow 2018 third-round pick Kolton Miller, Parker has spent the most time with the Raiders.

Parker's potential disrupted by injuries; 27 years old, could still have productive career if healthy.

Kolton Miller is a consistent starter at left tackle and is often regarded as the best in the league.

The offensive line for the Raiders remained relatively unchanged from last season, with the exception of Greg Van Roten.

A solid offensive line is vital, and Kolton Miller is encouraged by the development and intensity of the returning players.
