The Miami Dolphins set a new franchise scoring record

The Miami Dolphins put on a historic offensive performance in Week 3 of the 2023 NFL season, defeating the Denver Broncos 70-20.The Dolphins scored 10 touchdowns in the game,

breaking their previous franchise record of 7 set in 1966.Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was masterful in the victory, completing 23 of 26 passes for 309 yards and four touchdowns.

He also ran for a touchdown.Running backs Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane each scored four touchdowns in the game. Mostert rushed for 150 yards on 15 carries,

while Achane rushed for 120 yards on 10 carries.In addition to the scoring record, the Dolphins also set franchise records for total offense (726 yards) and

rushing yards (350 yards).They also had the longest pass play in franchise history, a 75-yard touchdown pass from Tagovailoa to Tyreek Hill.The Dolphins led 35-10 at

halftime and never looked back.They outgained the Broncos 726-330 in total offense and forced four turnovers.The Dolphins' defense, which had been a question mark entering

the season, played well in the victory. They sacked Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson four times and intercepted him once.The Dolphins made a statement with their victory

over the Broncos. They showed that they are a force to be reckoned with in the AFC and that they are a contender for the Super Bowl.

If they can continue to play at the level they did against the Broncos, they will be a dangerous team in the playoffs.
